Background and ExperienceHobbies and Interests

Jeff focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, employment law, and insurance defense. Known for his sharp legal writing and strategic approach to motion practice, Jeff excels at crafting persuasive arguments that resonate with the court, whether he is briefing a dispositive motion or arguing before a judge. He brings the same rigor to case strategy, working closely with clients to identify the strongest path forward from the earliest stages of a matter through trial.

Prior to joining GPMBF, Jeff was a senior associate at a national litigation firm, where he defended corporate clients and insurance companies in civil lawsuits pertaining to premises liability, products liability, and automobile/trucking accidents. Before relocating to Denver in 2021, Jeff practiced in Houston, defending medical malpractice claims and handling first-party and third-party insurance disputes.

Jeff’s writing on professional malpractice issues has been published in The University of Texas School of Law’s Review of Litigation and St. Mary’s Law Journal on Legal Malpractice and Ethics. He has also presented on these topics at various symposiums, including the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management’s Annual Conference. While in Houston, he also taught federal civil procedure and essential legal skills to aspiring paralegals at Rice University’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies.

Jeff holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, giving him an analytical, business-minded perspective that he brings to client counseling and litigation strategy, helping clients see beyond the immediate dispute to their broader commercial goals. That perspective is sharpened by his time in Las Vegas before law school, where he worked for a major casino company, focusing on gaming analytics and hotel revenue management, giving him an early grounding in data-driven decision making and operational strategy.
