Legal Administrative Assistant

GPMBF seeks a full-time legal administrative assistant in our Denver office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide legal and non-legal administrative and executive support to attorneys.
  • Manage the calendars of multiple attorneys and assist in scheduling client meetings, lunches, events, etc.
  • Coordinate travel for attorneys, including booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, conference registration, etc. and manage travel and expense reimbursements.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of legal terminology and court rules.
  • Draft, format, revise, proofread and finalize court documents and correspondence with demonstrated proficiency.
  • Manage and organize client documents and case files.
  • Initiate conflict checks, draft engagement letters, and open new client matters.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, lawyers, court personnel, and various vendors.
  • Enter timekeepers’ billable and non-billable time into billing software (Clio).
  • Scan, print, save, and file documents and create binders and other media for hearings, presentations and client meetings, as necessary.
  • Assist in tracking and managing bar association renewals, attorney registrations, and CLEs.
  • Complete other general office and administrative duties, as necessary.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with court rules and e-filing in Federal and State Court.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel) and Adobe.
  • Prefer prior law office experience and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt. This position is based in our Denver office and is not suitable for a candidate seeking full-time remote work.

Salary:  $26.44-$38.46 hourly (~$55,000-$80,000 annually), depending on skills and experience.
