Litigation Paralegal

GPMBF seeks a full-time litigation paralegal in our Denver office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Organize, review, analyze and manage large volumes of documents related to cases.
  • Assist attorneys in drafting and responding to discovery documents in assigned case files.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of legal terminology and court rules, including C.R.C.P. and F.R.C.P.
  • Draft, serve and file various pleadings to administrative offices and courts.
  • Calculate and manage all case deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents.
  • Draft, process, and file/send correspondence, various legal documents and forms, and settlement documents.
  • Coordinate with various third-party professionals in acquiring discovery, such as investigative reports, video surveillance, and others, as required.
  • Schedule hearings, prehearings, depositions, expert conferences, and settlement conferences.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, lawyers, courts, and outside vendors.
  • Assist in all aspects of trial preparation, including preparing all witness and exhibit lists and organizing and labeling all exhibits and documents for trial.
  • Contemporaneously capture billable time while adhering to all individual client protocols and procedures.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with court rules and e-filing in Federal and State Court.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel), Adobe, and eDiscovery software (Relativity, iPro).
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A paralegal certificate is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years paralegal experience, preferably in litigation.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt. This position is based in our Denver office and is not suitable for a candidate seeking full-time remote work.

Salary: $33.65-$52.88 hourly (~$70,000-$110,000 annually), depending on skills and experience.
